Job Description:

  • Develop and implement ESG strategies: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement ESG strategies that align with ADIC’s mission and objectives. This includes integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations into project planning and decision-making processes.
  • Conduct ESG assessments: Conduct comprehensive ESG assessments of proposed projects, evaluating their potential environmental and social impacts. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate and manage them effectively.
  • Monitor ESG performance: Establish monitoring systems to track the progress and performance of projects in relation to their ESG commitments. Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training: Educate and train employees and stakeholders on ESG best practices, ensuring a strong understanding of the importance of sustainable development and responsible business practices.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Engage with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, communities, and non-governmental organizations, to foster strong partnerships and ensure transparent communication on ESG-related matters.
  • Stay updated on ESG trends: Keep abreast of emerging ESG trends, regulations, and industry best practices. Provide recommendations to enhance ADIC’s ESG initiatives based on evolving standards and global benchmarks.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree would be a plus.
  • Proven experience in ESG management, sustainability, or corporate social responsibility (CSR), preferably within the private sector or development finance institutions.
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and standards, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
  • Knowledge of environmental and social impact assessment methodologies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and provide innovative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
